New Music: Haley Reinhart - Free

Haley Reinhart didn't win American Idol, but she did come in third place respectably. Now she has gone on to signing a recording contract with Interscope Records.

Her debut single titled "Free" serves as first official single from her debut album "Listen Up!", which will be released by 19 Recordings / Interscope Records on May 22nd. The upbeat, piano-driven single is very balanced between pop and jazz. It is a break-up song but its still upbeat and her vocals sounds mature for a 21 year old. She sings: "We don't let go, we can't get close / I still need you, when you still need me / This tug of war can't go on anymore / Nobody wins from this misery, free / Well can't you see, I wanna be, I want you to be free".

Reinhart will return to American Idol to perform the track live March 27th. The single will be available to purchase on March 20th. Her debut album "Listen Up!" is set to hit stores on May 22nd and is available now for pre-order on her official website. Listen to the track, after the jump
