One Direction perform on 'The Today Show' to promote "Up All Night"
British boyband One Direction took over New York City's 'Rockefeller Plaza' the morning (Monday) March 12th). They performed a mini-concert for NBC's 'The Today Show' to promote their debut album "Up All Night" in the US. The group performed three songs live show that included: "What Makes You Beautiful", "One Thing" and "More Than This".
I watched X-Factor UK, so I'm well aware of them. I never would have thought they would find success outside of the UK and Ireland. Not too long ago, boybands weren't doing so hot in America. Now you see the The Wanted's new single "Glad You Came" currently at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and One Direction's first single "What Makes You Beautiful" has peaked so far at #28 on the same chart.
You can check out the performances and interview, after the jump. One Direction are confirmed to perform on 'Saturday Night Live' April 7th. Their debut album "Up All Night" hits stores (tomorrow) March 13th.
