Girls' Generation inks record deal with Interscope to release "The Boys" in the US

It's been confirmed that Girls' Generation have officially inked a record deal with Universal Music Group to release their new English version of their new "The Boys" in not only America, but worldwide. "The Boys" was written and produced by Teddy Riley. It is on iTunes now and the physical Maxi-CD single will be released in November through Interscope Records. The album will be released in worldwide though Universal Music Group.
It was a good thing that SM Entertainment decided to push the date back for the American release. Instead of just putting it all out their at the same, their releasing the English language right now to test and see how its going to do. Hopefully within the next week or two "The Boys" peaks on Billboard Hot 100. The videos was also released for the single. SNSD has some stateside promotion, they will head to America on October 23rd to perform at the SM Town Live concert in Madison Square Garden.
