New Music: Katy Perry - Wide Awake + Dressin' Up

Two of Katy Perry's new tracks "Wide Awake" and "Dressin' Up! is available to take a listen. The tracks are apart of the special edition of her double-platinum selling album, "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection" set to hit stores on March 27th.

The two tracks were originally recorded for the regular edition (Teenage Dream) didn't make the final cut.  "Wide Awake" is a mid-tempo track about how someone feels after ending a relationship. The Tricky Stewart-produced "Dressin' Up" is playful and is pop but with a rock twist. Wasn't expecting these to sound as good as it does. It was written and recorded over two and a half years ago and it sounds new, but I'm pretty sure Katy went back in the studio to retouch it up. Another track included on the re-release is her  current single "Part Of Me", the music video premiere (Wednesday) March 21st. Listen to the tracks, after the jump.
