New Music: Avril Lavigne - Let Me Go (Duet with Chad Kroeger)

For Avril Lavigne's new song, she teams up with her husband Nickleback frontman Chad Kroeger on "Let Me Go". The track serves as the third official single from her upcoming self-titled fifth album "Avril Lavigne", which is set to hits stores and digital retailers on November 1st via Epic Records.

"Let Me Go" is an awesome haunting piano ballad, that was co-written and produced with David Hodges. The production is very reminiscent of Nickleback's music, which isn't a bad thing. I would say it's a mixture of the bands sound and a little bit of the old Avril. Wasn't sure what to expect from this collaboration. Now that I've heard it, I came out in the end really loving the track. The vocals meshed with each other well, didn't think it would at first. Since its being labeled the next single, I would assume that a music video was shot for it. If their is one, I can't wait to see it.

The single is scheduled to be released on October 15th.
