New Music: TLC - Meant To Be

In celebration of their 20 plus career as a group, TLC plans to keep their legacy with the release of a greatest hits collection titled "20" on October 15th. The album features 13 of the group's biggest hits including their four #1 singles "Creep", "Waterfalls", "No Scrubs", and "Unpretty". The release of the compilation will coincide with the premiere of their upcoming movie VH1 biopic "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" which premieres on October 21st. The duo premiered the only new song on the album titled "Meant To Be".

"Meant To Be" is a nice smooth R&B ballad, with T-Boz leading on the verses and Chilli taking care of the bridges. The track was penned by Ne-Yo and it actually sounds like a TLC song from back in the day. He did a really good with the creation of this. I don't dislike it, but it doesn't scream 'WOW'. 

Love TLC, to be honest I highly doubt that "20" is going to sell a lot of albums, especially with it featuring only one new song. They're also said to be working in the studio on new material that will be on a new album to be released in 2014. Since the Lady Gaga penned track "Posh Life" wasn't seen no where in the tracklisting, hopefully will hear it on their upcoming album.
