Jesse McCartney to release new EP "In Technicolor Part 1"

Former teen heartthrob Jesse McCartney will release a new four-track EP called "In Technicolor Part 1". The singer-songwriter is finally returning with a new record label (which is his own label Eight0Eight Records) and sound. Before making his return to music, he left his longtime record label Hollywood Records and went to do some movies.

McCartney explained his delay in making a new album to Billboard saying:

"I've been busy, but I'm finally ready to release some new music. More than anything, [the EP] is just a preview of what the full-length is going to be next year. I want to put something out for the fans — they've been more than patient. And I wanted to give them a taste of [new music], because the style of the new album is so different from the previous album".

The album will features the previously released single "Back Together". His fifth album is set to drop sometime in 2014, it will be an "'70's disco-pop record".

"In Technicolor Part 1" will be released on December 10th.
