Video Premiere: LORDE - Team

LORDE has premiered the music video for "Team". The track serves as the second official US single from her debut album "Pure Heroine", which is available in stores and iTunes now. It's the follow-up to her worldwide hit "Royals", as of now the song is still dominating the charts. "Team" was co-written and produced by her main collaborator New Zealand Joel Little, who also produced all the tracks on the album.

She explained in detail the video treatment for "Team" in a post on her Facebook page:

"This video was borne from a dream i had a few months ago about teenagers in their own world, a world with hierarchies and initiations, where the boy who was second in command had acne on his face, and so did the girl who was queen. i dreamt about this world being so different to anything anyone had ever seen, a dark world full of tropical plants and ruins and sweat. and of this world, i dreamt about tests that didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in: sometimes the person who loses is stronger. enjoy xxx".

I love this track, its my favorite track from her debut besides "Royals". It can easily become a hit single with some promotional performances.
