Betty Who announces debut album "Take Me When Yo Go"


In April 2013, Betty Who made her debut with indie-pop goodness "The Movement" EP. It was a collection of 80's-tinged synth-pop tracks and heartfelt ballads like "Somebody Loves You" and "You're In Love". The music was an independent free project and it lead the singer-songwriter gained a large amount of label interest, where she ended up signing with RCA Records. After receiving a recording contract, she returned the next year (April 2014) major record label deal, she returned with the Slow Dancing EP earlier this year. Now Betty has announced the title, release date, and tracklisting to her debut album.


Betty Who's debut album is titled "Take Me When You Go", its scheduled to hits stores and digital retailers on October 7th. It will include production from Claude Kelly, Martin Johnson, Mag, Starsmith and frequent collaborator Peter Thomas, who she has been working with since the start of her music career. The LP is set to have about 12 tracks, check out the tracklist below.

The album will be available for pre-order on August 27th. She'll also perform her debut single "Somebody Loves You" on the Today Show on August 27th.
