Nina Sky gets trippy in "Stoners" video with Smoke DZA

Following the release of their latest mixtape "#Currently: Vol. 1", it included a preview of a new track titled "Stoners" featuring Smoke Dza. Music duo Nina Sky has premiered the single and music video, it serves as the first taste from their upcoming fourth album, which is scheduled to be released later this year.




Produced by SKY NDGO, "Stoners" features a guest appearance by rapper Harlem Smoke DZA and contains a sample of "Break Yr Heartt" by oOoOO. The trippy R&B tune with a very laid back production. On the hazy track the duo sings: "A night cap on a long work day" / "One hit straight to your face" / "So stoned from the love we make" / "A hangover that you can take". Smoke DZA says his rhymes full of metaphors pertaining to smoking and love-making.

Directed by Feebzz and Blizzedout, the video was shot in New York. The video is portraying the song psychedelic vibe.

"The video was about portraying the song's psychedelic vibe instead of building a storyline", says Nina Sky's Natalie. "We wanted the viewer to feel that stoned feeling". Nicole talks about the details on the song's concept. "I was traveling with my wife for a DJ gig in Texas, and at the end of my set, this couple placed two mollies on my turntable for me and her", she says. "I'm not into that type of partying, but it was basically inspired by that. I get the point of taking something to enhance the moment, but to me that's the feeling of being so deep in love that it’s intoxicating".
