New Music: Wynter Gordon - Human Condition: Doleo [EP]
A couple months, singer/songwriter Wynter Gordon announced that she will be self-releasing four EPs for free titled "The Human Condition". The first chapter Human Condition: Doleo was released and is an eight track EP. All of the extended plays are going to have different genres, styles and showcases her as composer. Each chapter will represent a different emotion, the EP title Doleo means pain in Latin.
This project marks a new artistic direction, Wynter is exploring several sounds rock, trip-hop, and something she calls 'down-south hip hop and Celtic, classical music'. The first single is "Stimela" had a heavy tribal production. It was inspired by the Hugh Masekela anti-apartheid song of the same name, which Gordon performed with the South African legend at Carnegie Hall as a teenager.
