YG Entertainment to debut SuPearls & new girl group before 2012 ends
YG Entertainment has released infomation on their upcoming two girl groups and some additional info on 2NE1, G-Dragon and Epik High's albums.
A representative at YG spoke StarNews and said: "SuPearls will debut in September and the new girl group will debut in October".
SuPearls originally consisted of Park Ji Min, Michelle Lee, Lee Jung Mi, and Lee Seung Joo, who were finalists of SBS survival audition program 'K-Pop Star'. In the end, 'K-Pop Star' winner Park Ji Min made the final decision to sign with JYP Entertainment, she was replaced by runner-up Lee Ha Yi. They have trained together for a very short time, but Yang Hyun Suk (YG) said he believes Su Pearls are ready to debut in September.
After SuPearls debut, YG debut their much anticipated new girl group. Since the beginning of this year, they've slowing released the profile of the five members through its official blog, YG-Life. Their hasn't been any details revealed about the style, the name of the group, the numbers of members and etc. This will be first girl group YG is debuting in 3 years and 5 months since introducing 2NE1, so expectations from the fans are extremely high.
YG also told StarNews: "We cannot disclose any specific information including the total number of members, however, as of now we plan to debut them in October".
In other YG Entetainmet news, they aare planning to release several more albums before the end of this year. G-Dragon's solo album in August/early September,Epik High's new album coming in September and 2NE1's new album will be out around October.
