Kelis reveals "FOOD" album cover + tracklisting

Kelis recently confirmed that she'll be making her return, the singer has revealed the official album cover and tracklisting for her upcoming sixith album "FOOD". The project will be hit stores and digital retailers on April 22 via independent label Ninja Tune, this marks her first album in four years. It will feature 13 tracks including buzz single "Jerk Ribs" and the first single "Rumble".



The promotional track "Jerk Ribs" was the first taste of her new music, which had a new sound. The track is more classic R&B / Soul, it's a major step away from the dance/electronic sound like her last album "Flesh Tone" released back in 2010. The music from the album was entirely produced by Dave Sitek from TV On The Radio, and is being described as a "soul record that's as raw and alternative as it is classic".
