Aubrey O'Day releases debut EP "Between Two Evils"

Just before the ladies of Danity Kane announced that they'll be returning (minus D. Woods) to the music scene with a new album and single titled "Rage", one of the most known members Aubrey O'Day revealed her solo material to the world. Since the group split in 2008, this is the first collection of music. Over the last couple years, she's released some singles here and there like "Automatic" and "Wreaking Ball". The singer-songwriter released her long-awaited debut EP entitled "Between Two Evils". Look like Miss. O'Day wasn't the only one who had music scheduled to be released this year. Another member Dawn Richard is also set to drop her sophomore album "Blackheart" on October 7th.



The EP includes nine tracks produced by FRESHM3N III and Z Musik. The project showcases Aubrey's vocals on explosive dance tracks and emotional R&B tunes. Before listening to it I had my judgement based on the EP title and cover alone. I thought it was going to be some generic trash, but that was the total opposite. It's a very solid effort, especially do to the fact she doesn't have any major label backing.
